秋田公立美術大学附属高等学院（美大附）と秋田市立秋田商業高校（秋商）の入学式に来賓で出席してきました。
当日は6月並みの気温となった日で、本当に良き日に入学となり、喜ばしいことだと感じました。秋田市議会議員になって嬉しいのが、地元の高校の入学・卒業式に参加させていただけるようになったこと。美大附は自分の妹の母校であるし、秋商は自分が大好きな学校だから喜びもひとしおです。
感動した言葉を以下にご紹介します。
【祝辞】
野々口浩幸 美大附校長
「自分探しより自分磨き」
→自分探しより自分を磨くこと、という言葉にはっとしました。自分が大学生のころ、自分探しという名目でただダラダラと無駄に過ごした時間を思い出しました。あの時もっと自分を磨けばよかったのか、50手前で気が付かされました！
「過去・現在・未来を、10で分けたらどんな比率か」
→これはすごく響きました。自分なら、過去1・現在5・未来4 かな、と思いましたが、未来に夢を膨らませている高校入学時の生徒さんたちはもっと未来の比率が大きいかもしれませんね。
北郷悟 秋田公立美術大学長
「秋田県鹿角市にある4,000年前の縄文時代の環状列石の遺跡から、漆塗りの櫛が見つかっている。日本の伝統工芸である漆塗りの技術やオシャレを楽しんでいた気持ちは4,000年を超えることができた」
→縄文時代の祖先の工芸に対するスピリットを感じ、過去と現在が結びつき、そして未来へと想いを馳せることができました。美術や工芸を目指す者への歓迎の言葉としてこんな素敵な言葉はないと思います。北郷学長の言葉にはいつも感動させられます。
在校生代表 佐藤舞佳さん
「新入生を全力で応援する。分からないことがあれば何でも聞いてほしい。みんなで一緒に秋田公立美術大学附属高等学院を作っていこう」
→シンプルな言葉なのに、上辺の、形式の言葉ではない、心からの気持ちを感じました。部活に近いような感覚なのかもしれませんが、こんな後味爽やかな挨拶は初めてでした。
新入生代表 鈴木優花さん
「美大附を目指してから今までやったことのなかったデッサンを始めた。技術はないけど何よりも絵を描くのが好き。ここはそんな自分を受け入れてくれた場所」
→純粋な新入生の熱い想いを感じました。美大附は、生徒（各学年の結びつき）、先生、PTAが三位一体となっている素晴らしい学校だと思うが、やはり生徒さんたちがみなピュアだから素敵なのだと思いました。
【式辞】
瀧澤徳彦 秋商校長
「どれだけ努力するかは、どれだけ高い目標を掲げるかによる」
→限られた時間の中で、どれだけ努力するか、どれだけ高い目標を掲げるか、これは高校3年間に限ったことではないと思います。長い人生という期間の中でも同じだと思います。深く考えさせられました。
【新入生誓いの言葉】
「自分はサッカーで全県優勝するという高い目標を持っている。秋商の伝統を引き継いでいきたい。周囲に感謝しながら高校生活を送りたい」
→秋商に来ると感じるのが「伝統」。古臭い言葉のようでもあり、同時に帰属意識を高めプライドを刺激する良き言葉でもあります。人は変わらないものを見ると安心するのだと思いますが、秋商に来るとその安心感を感じます。校長先生の式辞に応えるかのような誓いの言葉…これだよコレ！と秋商ファンとしては嬉しく思うのであります。また、高校1年生で周囲への感謝を話せるのはさすが秋商！と思いました。
【生徒のオーラ】
生徒さんたちは入場と退場では別人のオーラを纏っておりびっくりしました。入場の行進では少しおどおど・キョロキョロしていましたが、入学を許可され校歌を歌った後で、退場の行進では自信を持ち笑顔で胸を張って堂々と歩いていきました。これがAKISHOプライドorブランドなのか！と驚きました。
【概要】
秋田公立美術大学附属高等学院
専修学校高等課程（高等学校ではないが文科省指定校であり高校卒業と同様の大学入学資格が付与され、就職時も高卒と同等に扱われる）のためカリキュラムで美術に特化した美術工芸の技術を学べるのが特徴。去年は秋田公立美術大学（あきび）に7名が進学（学校枠推薦は3名）。昭和27年に秋田市立工芸学校として設立、名前を4度変えて今に至る歴史ある学校。
秋田市立秋田商業高等学校
秋田で最も古い歴史を持つ商業高校。部活動が盛んで、野球部、サッカー部、レスリング部、水泳部など全国レベルで活躍する部が多数あり、プロスポーツ選手も輩出している。商業系の科目を重視しており、様々な資格の取得にも力を入れている。生徒が地元企業と連携し、企画・開発した商品を販売する「AKISHOP」を毎年開催。生徒が考えたお菓子や食品の販売を秋田駅前、秋田市民市場などで生徒が対面販売を行う。

I attended the entrance ceremonies as a guest at Akita Prefectural University of Fine Arts Affiliated High School (Bi-dai-fu) and Akita City Akita Commercial High School (Aki-sho).
It was a day with temperatures reminiscent of June, and I felt truly fortunate that the entrance took place on such a beautiful day. One of the things I’m happy about becoming a member of the Akita City Council is being able to attend the entrance and graduation ceremonies of local high schools. Bi-dai-fu is my younger sister’s alma mater, and Aki-sho is a school I have a great fondness for, so the joy is even greater.
Here are some inspiring words from the ceremonies:
【Congratulatory Address】
Hiroyuki Nonoguchi, Principal of Bi-dai-fu:
“Self-improvement rather than self-discovery”
→ These words made me pause and think. It reminded me of the time when I was a university student, idly spending time under the guise of self-discovery. It made me realize, nearing fifty, that I should have worked harder on improving myself!
“How would you divide the past, present, and future if you had to allocate them on a scale of ten?”
→ This really resonated with me. Personally, I’d say past 1, present 5, future 4, but for the students starting their high school journey with dreams for the future, the ratio for the future might be even higher.
Satoru Kitago, President of Akita Prefectural University of Fine Arts:
“Four thousand years ago, during the Jomon period in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, a comb coated with lacquer was found at a circular stone arrangement site. The feeling of enjoying the traditional Japanese craft of lacquerware and fashion has been passed down for over 4,000 years.”
→ I felt the spirit of our Jomon ancestors’ craftsmanship, connecting the past, present, and future. I think there’s no better welcome to those aspiring to pursue art and craftsmanship. President Kitago’s words always move me deeply.
Representative of Current Students, Maika Satoh:
“We will support the new students with all our might. If there’s anything you don’t understand, please don’t hesitate to ask. Let’s all work together to create Akita Prefectural University of Fine Arts Affiliated High School.”
→ Though simple, these words conveyed genuine sentiments, not just superficial or formal phrases. This refreshing speech was unlike any other I’ve heard.
Representative of New Students, Yuka Suzuki:
“Since aiming for Bi-dai-fu, I’ve started drawing, something I’ve never done before. I lack the technique, but I love drawing more than anything. This is a place that accepts me for who I am.”
→ I felt the passionate emotions of the new students. While I believe Bi-dai-fu is a wonderful school due to the unity among students (across all grades), teachers, and the PTA, it’s ultimately the pure hearts of the students that make it so special.
【Address】
Norihiko Takizawa, Principal of Aki-sho:
“How much effort you put in depends on how high your goals are.”
→ This isn’t just limited to the three years of high school but extends throughout life. It made me ponder deeply.
【Pledge of New Students】
“I have a lofty goal of winning the prefectural championship in soccer. I want to inherit the traditions of Aki-sho. I want to live my high school life with gratitude to those around me.”
→ What I feel when I come to Aki-sho is its “tradition.” It may sound old-fashioned, but it also serves to increase a sense of belonging and stimulate pride. People tend to find comfort in things that don’t change, and I feel that sense of comfort when I come to Aki-sho. The pledge of allegiance, as if in response to the principal’s address… this is it! As a fan of Aki-sho, I am delighted. Moreover, it’s impressive that a first-year high school student expresses gratitude to others, which is characteristic of Aki-sho!
【Aura of the Students】
The students had a completely different aura during their entrance and exit. They seemed a bit timid and nervous during the entrance march, but after being admitted and singing the school anthem, they confidently walked out with smiles on their faces. I was surprised by this transformation. This must be the AKISHO pride or brand!
【Overview】
Akita Prefectural University of Fine Arts Affiliated High School:
A specialized vocational school (not a high school but designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) where students can learn artistic and craft techniques through a curriculum focused on art. Last year, seven students were admitted to Akita Prefectural University of Fine Arts (Akibi) (three through the school’s recommendation system). Established in 1952 as Akita City Technical School of Arts and Crafts, the school has changed its name four times throughout its history.
Akita City Akita Commercial High School:
The oldest commercial high school in Akita with a rich history. The school excels in extracurricular activities, with many clubs such as baseball, soccer, wrestling, and swimming achieving national-level success and producing professional athletes. It emphasizes commercial subjects and places importance on obtaining various qualifications. Every year, it holds “AKISHOP,” where students collaborate with local companies to develop and sell products. Students sell snacks and food products they have designed face-to-face at locations such as Akita Station and Akita City Public Market.

Asistí a las ceremonias de entrada como invitado en la Escuela Secundaria Afiliada de la Universidad de Bellas Artes de la Prefectura de Akita (Bi-dai-fu) y la Escuela Secundaria Comercial de la Ciudad de Akita (Aki-sho).
Fue un día con temperaturas que recordaban a junio, y me sentí realmente afortunado de que la entrada tuviera lugar en un día tan hermoso. Una de las cosas que me alegra al convertirme en miembro del Consejo de la Ciudad de Akita es poder asistir a las ceremonias de entrada y graduación de las escuelas secundarias locales. Bi-dai-fu es la alma mater de mi hermana menor, y Aki-sho es una escuela por la que siento un gran aprecio, así que la alegría es aún mayor.

Representante de los Estudiantes Actuales, Maika Satoh:
“Apoyaremos a los nuevos estudiantes con todas nuestras fuerzas. Si hay algo que no entiendes, no dudes en preguntar. Trabajemos todos juntos para crear la Escuela Secundaria Afiliada de la Universidad de Bellas Artes de la Prefectura de Akita.”
→ Aunque simples, estas palabras transmitieron sentimientos genuinos, no solo frases superficiales o formales. Este discurso refrescante fue diferente a cualquier otro que haya escuchado.
Representante de los Nuevos Estudiantes, Yuka Suzuki:
“Desde que apunto a Bi-dai-fu, he comenzado a dibujar, algo que nunca había hecho antes. Me falta la técnica, pero amo dibujar más que nada. Este es un lugar que me acepta tal como soy.”
→ Sentí las emociones apasionadas de los nuevos estudiantes. Si bien creo que Bi-dai-fu es una escuela maravillosa debido a la unidad entre los estudiantes (de todos los grados), los maestros y la Asociación de Padres y Maestros, son los corazones puros de los estudiantes los que la hacen tan especial.
【Discurso】
Norihiko Takizawa, Director de Aki-sho:
“Cuánto esfuerzo pongas depende de cuán altas sean tus metas.”
→ Esto no se limita solo a los tres años de la escuela secundaria, sino que se extiende a lo largo de la vida. Me hizo reflexionar profundamente.
【Juramento de los Nuevos Estudiantes】
“Tengo el objetivo elevado de ganar el campeonato prefectural de fútbol. Quiero heredar las tradiciones de Aki-sho. Quiero vivir mi vida escolar con gratitud hacia quienes me rodean.”
→ Lo que siento cuando vengo a Aki-sho es su “tradición”. Puede sonar anticuado, pero también sirve para aumentar el sentido de pertenencia y estimular el orgullo. La gente tiende a encontrar consuelo en las cosas que no cambian, y siento ese sentido de consuelo cuando vengo a Aki-sho. El juramento de lealtad, como si fuera en respuesta al discurso del director… ¡esto es! Como fanático de Aki-sho, estoy encantado. Además, es impresionante que un estudiante de primer año exprese gratitud hacia los demás, lo cual es característico de Aki-sho.

Los estudiantes tenían una aura completamente diferente durante su entrada y salida. Parecían un poco tímidos y nerviosos durante la marcha de entrada, pero después de ser admitidos y cantar el himno escolar, salieron con confianza y sonrisas en sus rostros. Me sorprendió esta transformación. ¡Esto debe ser el orgullo o la marca de AKISHO!
【Resumen】
Escuela Secundaria Afiliada de Bellas Artes de la Prefectura de Akita:

La escuela sobresale en actividades extracurriculares, con muchos clubes como béisbol, fútbol, lucha libre y natación que alcanzan el éxito a nivel nacional y producen atletas profesionales. Se enfoca en materias comerciales y da importancia a obtener varias calificaciones. Cada año, se lleva a cabo “AKISHOP”, donde los estudiantes colaboran con empresas locales para desarrollar y vender productos. Los estudiantes venden bocadillos y productos alimenticios que han diseñado cara a cara en lugares como la Estación de Akita y el Mercado Público de la Ciudad de Akita.
