年々、市内の、特に駅前を中心として落書きが増えてきていると感じています。しかしながら、「増えたな」という感覚ではなく、実際にどれくらいの落書きがあるのか、調査をしたいなと以前から考えていました。そこで、元旦早々に、58（ゴーハチ）の会で調査してきました。
※「58（ゴーハチ）の会」：秋田のために何かワクワクすることを考えたり、企画したり、活動したりと様々な試みを行う有志の会。2か月に1回くらいのゆるいペースで何か活動を行なっています。活動は、調査、ワークショップ、アウトドア、単なるお茶会など。
この落書き調査は、以前からやろう、と話をしていたのですが、秋口の天気の良い時期は、豪雨災害ボランティアなどに行ったり、臨時議会があったりと、機会を失っていて、冬になるまで延ばしていました。今年は例年になく雪がなかったため、寒かったのですが、歩きやすく、集まったメンバーでワイワイ雑談しながら歩いて駅前〜中央通り〜仲小路〜広小路と、秋田駅からなかいちまでの間の通りを歩いて落書きの写真を撮って、位置データをメモしました。
オープンデータとして公開しつつ、この情報を今後も更新していきたいと思います。

I conducted an investigation into graffiti in the vicinity of Akita Station early in the new year.
I’ve been sensing an increase in graffiti, particularly around the city center and near the station, over the years. However, rather than just feeling like it has increased, I wanted to find out the actual extent of graffiti through a survey. So, on New Year’s Day, I conducted a survey with the “58 (Go-Hachi) Group.”
“58 (Go-Hachi) Group”: A voluntary group that thinks, plans, and engages in various activities for the excitement of Akita. The group conducts activities at a relaxed pace, approximately once every two months. Activities include surveys, workshops, outdoor activities, and simple tea parties.
Although we had been discussing this graffiti survey for a while, during the early autumn when the weather was good, we were engaged in activities such as volunteering for heavy rain disasters and attending special council meetings, missing the opportunity. We postponed it until winter. This year, with unusually little snow, it was cold, but with a comfortable walk and lively conversations among the members, we walked through the streets from the station to Nakaiichi, taking photos of graffiti and noting their locations.
While planning to release the information as open data, I hope to continue updating this data in the future.

Realicé una investigación sobre los grafitis en los alrededores de la estación de Akita a principios de año nuevo.
He venido percibiendo un aumento en los grafitis, especialmente en el centro de la ciudad y cerca de la estación, a lo largo de los años. Sin embargo, en lugar de simplemente sentir que ha aumentado, quería averiguar la extensión real de los grafitis a través de una encuesta. Así que, el día de Año Nuevo, realicé una encuesta con el “Grupo 58 (Go-Hachi).”
“Grupo 58 (Go-Hachi)”: Un grupo voluntario que piensa, planea y participa en diversas actividades para la emoción de Akita. El grupo realiza actividades a un ritmo relajado, aproximadamente una vez cada dos meses. Las actividades incluyen encuestas, talleres, actividades al aire libre y sencillas reuniones de té.
Aunque habíamos estado discutiendo esta encuesta de grafitis durante un tiempo, durante el otoño temprano cuando el clima era bueno, estábamos ocupados en actividades como el voluntariado para desastres de lluvias intensas y asistir a reuniones especiales del consejo, perdiendo la oportunidad. Lo pospusimos hasta el invierno. Este año, con una cantidad inusualmente pequeña de nieve, hacía frío, pero con un paseo cómodo y conversaciones animadas entre los miembros, recorrimos las calles desde la estación hasta Nakaiichi, tomamos fotos de grafitis y anotamos sus ubicaciones.
