ユネスコとは、バニヤンツリーというNGOの代表である藤本恵子さん（現在、日本ユネスコ国内委員会委員）とJICA秋田デスク時代から仲良しであり、過去にESD（持続可能な開発のための教育）の実践を秋田商業高校の実践授業であるAKISHOPと連携したことがあることから、切っても切れぬ仲であると勝手に思っていたのですが、縁あって今年度から秋田ユネスコ協会に入会することになりました。たまたま、秋田県が、今年度のユネスコ活動研究会の開催当番県となっており、秋田大会の運営をお手伝いしてきました。
昔からユネスコの会員の方からお世話になっておりましたので、今回お手伝いできたのは、マンパワーであっても何かのお役に立ちたいと思っておりましたので、とても嬉しかったです。 午前中に、大会の準備がひと段落したころに、秋田駅前で行われていたAKISHOPを見にいって、JICA（国際協力機構）との連携ブースを見て、担当の太田先生と今後の展望を語り、AIU卒生の大西さんと名刺を交換してきました。また国際協力関連でお手伝いして秋田商業と連携できたら嬉しいですね！

I helped with the UNESCO Activity Study Group Akita Conference and went to see AKISHOP.
UNESCO is an NGO represented by Keiko Fujimoto, who is currently a member of the Japan UNESCO National Committee. She and I have been close since her time as a JICA Akita Desk officer, and we have collaborated in the past on ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) practices through AKISHOP, a practical class at Akita Commercial High School. So, I thought our connection was inseparable. By chance, this year, Akita became the host for the UNESCO Activity Study Group, and I have been assisting with the organization of the Akita Conference.
I’ve been indebted to UNESCO members for their support for a long time, so I was very pleased to be able to help this time, whether it was through manpower or in any other way. In the morning, when the preparations for the conference were nearly complete, I went to see AKISHOP being held in front of Akita Station. I also visited the booth in collaboration with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), where I talked with Professor Ota about future prospects. I also exchanged business cards with Mr. Oonishi, an AIU graduate. I would be happy if we could collaborate with Akita Commercial in the future for international cooperation-related initiatives!

Colaboré en la Conferencia de la Actividad del Grupo de Estudio de la UNESCO Akita y fui a ver AKISHOP.
La UNESCO es una ONG representada por Keiko Fujimoto, quien actualmente es miembro del Comité Nacional de la UNESCO de Japón. Ella y yo hemos sido cercanos desde su tiempo como funcionaria de la Oficina de JICA en Akita, y hemos colaborado en el pasado en prácticas de ESD (Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible) a través de AKISHOP, una clase práctica en la Escuela Secundaria Comercial de Akita. Por lo tanto, pensé que nuestra conexión era inseparable. Por casualidad, este año, Akita se convirtió en el anfitrión del Grupo de Estudio de Actividades de la UNESCO, y he estado ayudando con la organización de la Conferencia de Akita. He estado en deuda con los miembros de la UNESCO por su apoyo durante mucho tiempo, así que me alegró mucho poder ayudar esta vez, ya sea proporcionando mano de obra o de cualquier otra manera.
