新屋地区の子どもにとってとても楽しみな夏の行事のひとつがこの雄物川花火大会だと思います。自分も子どもの頃は親や友達と雄物川河川敷まで歩いて必ず見に行きました。コロナ禍も明けて去年からたくさん出店が出ており、千秋公園の花見や竿燈よりも多いのでは？と思うくらいの数でした。4,000発の花火は素晴らしく、新屋・勝平の両地区振興会の皆様を始め、実行委員会の方々の努力には頭が下がる思いでした。

The Omonogawa Fireworks Festival: A Beloved Summer Tradition in Araya
For children in the Araya district, the annual Omonogawa Fireworks Festival is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events of the summer. As a child, I remember always walking down to the Omonogawa Riverbank with my parents and friends to watch the magnificent display. Since the pandemic ended, the number of food stalls has increased dramatically, rivaling even the Cherry Blossom Festival at Senshu Park and the Kanto Festival. The 4,000 fireworks were truly spectacular, and I am deeply grateful for the hard work of the Araya and Katsuhira District Promotion Associations, as well as the entire organizing committee.

El Festival de Fuegos Artificiales de Omonogawa: Una Amada Tradición de Verano en Araya
Para los niños del distrito de Araya, el Festival de Fuegos Artificiales de Omonogawa es, sin duda, uno de los eventos más esperados del verano. Cuando era niño, recuerdo haber caminado siempre hasta la orilla del río Omonogawa con mis padres y amigos para ver el magnífico espectáculo. Desde que terminó la pandemia, la cantidad de puestos de comida ha aumentado drásticamente, rivalizando incluso con el Festival de los Cerezos en Flor del Parque Senshu y el Festival de Kanto.
