570箇所以上ある選挙ポスター掲示板へのポスター貼りですが、秋田市内の中心市街地の約420箇所強以外の郊外の約150箇所については、選挙カーで回りながら、候補者自ら選挙ポスター掲示板に貼ることにしている、と以前にお知らせしました。選挙に詳しい方に伺っても、候補者自ら、郊外の選挙ポスター掲示板へ、選挙カーを使ってポスターを貼りに行くなんて聞いたことがない、と言われました。しかし、どうして誰もこんなに簡単に思いつくようなことをやらなかったのか不思議です。150箇所以上ある郊外の選挙ポスター掲示板を全部回るのは3日かかりました。私の陣営の番号（６番）の箇所だけポスターが貼られずにぽっかりと空いていましたので、ポスターを貼っていると「やっと来たのかい」と声をかけてくれる方もおりました。
今日一番感動したのは秋田市雄和萱ケ沢地区です。萱ケ沢自治会館隣でポスターを貼っていると、お向かいの小さな畑に年配の女性が作業していて手を振ってくれましたので、お声がけしたところ、私の名前を見てすぐに「元県庁職員だべ」と言いました。びっくりしてよく話を聞くと、新聞を隅から隅まで読むのだそうですぐに分かったそうです。これからの市議は、若い人にお願いしたいと話してくれました。その次に、中ノ沢自治会館近くの選挙ポスター掲示板まで行くと、すぐ目の前にたくさんの素敵な木工細工や椅子がたくさんあるお宅があり、年配の男性が作業をしていましたのでお話したところ、意気投合して話が盛り上がりました！その方曰く、この地区まで来て降りてきた候補者は（今日までは）いない、とのこと。過去に来た人はいたが、車から降りてこないで手を振るだけだったそうです。降りてポスターを貼って、話しかけた候補者はいなかったとのことでした。その地区の問題や様々なことについて語り合いましたが、すごくすごく楽しい充実した時間でした！当選してもしなくても、また絶対に会いに行きますね！

Posting campaign posters on over 570 election bulletin boards. As I previously announced, my campaign team and I will be using election cars to travel around the outskirts of Akita city and personally put up posters on about 150 bulletin boards outside of the approximately 420 located in the central downtown area. Even those familiar with elections say they have never heard of a candidate personally putting up posters on bulletin boards in the outskirts using election cars. However, I wonder why no one had thought of this simple solution before. It took three days to visit all of the over 150 bulletin boards in the outskirts. At one spot where my campaign number (6) was missing, I put up a poster and someone said to me, ‘Have you finally come?’ and spoke to me.
Today, I was most moved by the Yuwa-Kayagasawa district in Akita city. While putting up posters next to the Kayagasawa Community Center, an elderly woman waved at me from a small neighboring field, and when I approached her, she said, ‘You used to work for the prefectural government.’ She had recognized me by my name from reading the newspaper. She told me that she would like to entrust the future of the city council to young people. Later, when I went to the election bulletin board near the Nakanosawa Community Center, I spoke to an elderly man who was doing some work outside of a house with many beautiful wood carvings and chairs. He said that no candidate had come to this district (until today) and that those who did come only waved from their cars but never got out to put up posters or speak to him. We talked about various issues in the area, and it was a very enjoyable and fulfilling time. Whether I win or not, I will definitely go back to see them again!”

Colocando carteles de campaña en más de 570 paneles electorales. Como anuncié anteriormente, mi equipo de campaña y yo usaremos autos electorales para viajar por las afueras de la ciudad de Akita y colocar personalmente carteles en alrededor de 150 paneles electorales fuera de los aproximadamente 420 ubicados en el centro del área del centro de la ciudad. Incluso aquellos familiarizados con las elecciones dicen que nunca han oído hablar de un candidato que coloca personalmente carteles en los paneles electorales en las afueras utilizando autos electorales. Sin embargo, me pregunto por qué nadie había pensado en esta solución simple antes. Nos llevó tres días visitar todos los más de 150 paneles electorales en las afueras.
