勝平地区を選挙カーで走っていると、結構な数の方が、車から手を振ってくれます。すれ違うので、誰かを判別できないことが多いのですが、その後メッセンジャーやlineで、同級生や昔の知り合いから今日手を振ったよ！とか、応援します！とか、連絡が入るので毎日感謝しており、心が温かい気持ちになります。今日は、勝平の地元の人しか車で入ってこないだろう、という細目の路地に入ったところ、周辺の家や畑仕事中や散歩の方々が集まってきましたのでご挨拶しましたところ、みんな中学校の同級生のお母さんやお父さんたちでした。地元の人の思いが少しずつ集まってくるのを感じると、感謝の念でいっぱいになります。本当にありがとうございます！
“Local Support”
As I drive around the Katsuhira district in my election car, quite a number of people wave to me from their cars. As we pass by each other, I often can’t recognize who they are, but later on, I receive messages via messenger or LINE from classmates or old acquaintances saying things like “I waved at you today!” or “I support you!” This makes me grateful every day and warms my heart. Today, I turned onto a narrow road where only local residents would be driving, and people gathering around their houses, working in their fields, or taking walks all came out to greet me. It turned out that they were all parents of my classmates from middle school. As I feel the local support gradually coming together, I am filled with gratitude. Thank you very much!”
“Apoyo local” Mientras conduzco mi carro de campaña por el distrito de Katsuhira, muchas personas me saludan desde sus carros. A menudo, al pasar por ellos, no puedo reconocer quiénes son, pero luego recibo mensajes por medio de Messenger o LINE de compañeros de clase o viejos conocidos que me dicen cosas como “¡Te saludé hoy!” o “¡Te apoyo!” Esto me hace sentir agradecido todos los días y me llena el corazón de calor.
