2024年9月16日（祝・月）に私の地元である勝平地区で敬老会があり出席しました。昨年も開催されていたのですが、議会中の日程とかぶっており出席できず、今年は出席できたのでとても嬉しかったです！１９０人もの方が出席されました。
敬老の日を迎えた皆様、誠におめでとうございます！
当日は晴天で気持ちよい日で、会場では同級生のお父さんお母さんたちにたくさんお会いして声をかけていただきました。やまばと保育園児のみなさんからお祝いの太鼓演奏もありとても盛り上がりました。また、勝平小学校の代表、勝平中学校の生徒会長と副会長によるお祝いのメッセージも素晴らしく、次世代が地域で順調に育っていることに目を細めてしまいました。
勝平地区をこれまで作り上げ守ってきた諸先輩方の敬老の日をお祝いしながら、個人的に少しほっとしたのは、勝平地区で出没しているクマ数頭のうち、８０センチの個体が数日前に箱罠にかかったことです。もう一匹４０センチの個体が目撃されていますのですべて捕まるまで行政情報やクマダス情報には注意していきたいと思います。
勝平地区を始め秋田市全域が安心安全な地域になるよう、引き続き努力していきたいと思いました。

I attended the Respect for the Aged Day event in my hometown of Katsuhira
On Monday, September 16, 2024 (a national holiday), I attended the Respect for the Aged Day celebration held in my hometown of Katsuhira. Although the event was also held last year, I couldn’t attend due to a scheduling conflict with a city council meeting. I was very happy to be able to attend this year! As many as 190 people were present.

It was a beautiful and sunny day, and at the venue, I had the pleasure of seeing and chatting with many of my classmates’ parents. The children from Yamabato Kindergarten gave a lively taiko drum performance, which made the event even more exciting. Additionally, the messages from the student council president and vice president of Katsuhira Elementary and Junior High Schools were wonderful. I was touched to see the next generation growing so well in our community.
While celebrating the seniors who have built and protected the Katsuhira district, I was also somewhat relieved to hear that one of the bears, an 80 cm one, that had been spotted in the area was caught in a trap a few days ago. Another 40 cm bear has been sighted, so I will continue to pay attention to administrative updates and bear warning information until they are all caught.
I am committed to continuing my efforts to make the entire Akita City, including Katsuhira, a safe and secure place to live.

Asistí al evento del Día del Respeto a los Mayores en mi ciudad natal, Katsuhira
El lunes 16 de septiembre de 2024 (feriado nacional), asistí a la celebración del Día del Respeto a los Mayores que se realizó en mi ciudad natal de Katsuhira. Aunque el evento también se celebró el año pasado, no pude asistir debido a un conflicto de horarios con una reunión del consejo municipal. ¡Estuve muy feliz de poder asistir este año! Unas 190 personas estuvieron presentes.

Fue un día hermoso y soleado, y en el lugar, tuve el placer de ver y conversar con muchos padres de mis compañeros de clase. Los niños del jardín de infantes Yamabato realizaron una animada actuación de tambores taiko, lo que hizo que el evento fuera aún más emocionante. Además, los mensajes del presidente y vicepresidente del consejo estudiantil de las escuelas primaria y secundaria de Katsuhira fueron maravillosos. Me conmovió ver cómo la próxima generación está creciendo tan bien en nuestra comunidad.
Mientras celebrábamos a los mayores que han construido y protegido el distrito de Katsuhira, también me sentí algo aliviado al escuchar que uno de los osos, uno de 80 cm, que había sido avistado en la zona, fue atrapado en una trampa hace unos días. Se ha visto otro oso de 40 cm, así que seguiré prestando atención a las actualizaciones administrativas y la información de advertencia sobre osos hasta que todos sean capturados.
