公務として台湾に行きました。行ったのはいくつか理由があります。主なものは、台南市で開催される日台交流サミットへの参加（日本から総勢約４4０人も参加し、台南市の議員など併せると約５００人の参加者になったそうです）です。台湾と日本は国交がないため、議員を通した議員外交が主になっています。
その他の理由は、2018年に秋田市が友好都市になろうと訪問した際に友好実績を作るのが先ということで保留されていた経緯があり、現在はチャーター便就航で機運が高まっており、また、観光交流事業を行うため秋田市が2024年度に竿燈を派遣し効果的なプロモーションを実施する予定でもあることから、友好実績を見せる狙いもありました。
さらに、台南市が修学旅行先の候補地として適切な場所であるかの調査や、インバウンド対応のための台湾人の趣向調査、秋田からの旅行者や修学旅行が増えた際に心配される台湾有事の際の対応についての調査を行いました。

Participation in the Japan-Taiwan Friendship Summit in Tainan to strengthen bilateral relations.
I had several reasons for my official visit to Taiwan. The primary one was to participate in the Japan-Taiwan Friendship Summit held in Tainan City. This summit drew a significant crowd of approximately 440 participants from Japan, bringing the total attendance to around 500 including local Tainan officials. Since Japan and Taiwan do not have official diplomatic relations, parliamentary diplomacy plays a crucial role.
Another reason for my visit was to follow up on our previous attempts to establish a friendship city relationship with Akita City in 2018. With the recent increase in interest due to the launch of charter flights, and Akita City’s plans to send a Kanto lantern performance to Taiwan in 2024 for effective promotion, I aimed to demonstrate our commitment to strengthening ties.
Additionally, I conducted research to assess the suitability of Tainan City as a potential destination for school trips, investigated Taiwanese preferences for inbound tourism, and explored potential responses to a Taiwan contingency in case of increased travel and educational exchanges from Akita.
Itinerary:
July 28: Akita Airport → Haneda Airport → Taipei (Songshan) Airport
Unfortunately, due to booking timing issues, we were unable to secure enough seats on the inaugural charter flight from Akita Airport for our group.
Took the high-speed rail from Taipei Station to Tainan.
July 29:
Morning: Visited historical sites in Tainan City, including Chihkan Tower, a potential destination for school trips.
Afternoon-Evening: Attended the 10th Japan-Taiwan Friendship Summit in Tainan.
July 30:
Morning: Continued participation in the summit, including a cultural and ecological tour (Route A) that would be highly appealing for cross-cultural experiences in school trips.
Afternoon: Took the high-speed rail from Tainan Station back to Taipei.
July 31:
Morning: Attended a lecture titled “Responding to Inbound Tourism in Taiwan” at the Akita Bank Taipei Office, presented by Mr. Takahima, the branch manager. Conducted market research on Japanese products in Taipei’s Breeze Center and SOGO department store, examining quantities and prices.
Afternoon: Attended a lecture titled “The Possibility of a Taiwan Contingency and Response Measures Taken by Local Japanese Companies in Such a Situation” at the NAKA’S Office, presented by Mr. Fukushima.

Participación en la Cumbre de Amistad Japón-Taiwán en Tainan para fortalecer las relaciones bilaterales.
Tuve varias razones para mi visita oficial a Taiwán. La principal fue participar en la Cumbre de Amistad Japón-Taiwán celebrada en la ciudad de Tainan. Este evento reunió a un importante número de aproximadamente 440 participantes de Japón, alcanzando un total de alrededor de 500 personas, incluyendo funcionarios locales de Tainan. Dado que Japón y Taiwán no mantienen relaciones diplomáticas oficiales, la diplomacia parlamentaria juega un papel crucial.
Otra razón de mi visita fue dar seguimiento a nuestros intentos anteriores de establecer una relación de ciudades hermanas con la ciudad de Akita en 2018. Con el reciente aumento del interés debido al lanzamiento de vuelos chárter y los planes de la ciudad de Akita de enviar una presentación de linternas Kanto a Taiwán en 2024 para una promoción efectiva, busqué demostrar nuestro compromiso de fortalecer los lazos.
Además, realicé una investigación para evaluar la idoneidad de la ciudad de Tainan como posible destino para viajes escolares, estudié las preferencias taiwanesas para el turismo receptivo y exploré posibles respuestas a una contingencia en Taiwán en caso de un aumento de viajes e intercambios educativos desde Akita.
Itinerario:
28 de julio: Aeropuerto de Akita → Aeropuerto de Haneda → Aeropuerto de Taipéi (Songshan)
Desafortunadamente, debido a problemas de programación de reservas, no pudimos asegurar suficientes asientos en el vuelo chárter inaugural desde el Aeropuerto de Akita para nuestro grupo. Tomamos el tren de alta velocidad desde la Estación de Taipéi hasta Tainan.
29 de julio:
Mañana: Visitamos sitios históricos en la ciudad de Tainan, incluyendo la Torre Chihkan, un posible destino para viajes escolares.
Tarde-Noche: Asistimos a la 10ª Cumbre de Amistad Japón-Taiwán en Tainan.
30 de julio:
Mañana: Continuamos participando en la cumbre, incluyendo un recorrido cultural y ecológico (Ruta A) que sería muy atractivo para experiencias interculturales en viajes escolares.
Tarde: Tomamos el tren de alta velocidad desde la Estación de Tainan de regreso a Taipéi.

Mañana: Asistimos a una conferencia titulada “Respuesta al turismo receptivo en Taiwán” en la oficina de Akita Bank en Taipéi, presentada por el Sr. Takahima, gerente de la sucursal. Realizamos una investigación de mercado sobre productos japoneses en el Breeze Center y el departamento SOGO de Taipéi, examinando cantidades y precios.
Tarde: Asistimos a una conferencia titulada “La posibilidad de una contingencia en Taiwán y las medidas de respuesta tomadas por las empresas japonesas locales en dicha situación” en la oficina de NAKA’S, presentada por el Sr. Fukushima.
