去年までは、秋田県庁の職員でしたし、比較的上階の北側に位置する部署にいたこともあり、秋田市の消防出初め式を建物の中から見ることはこれまでに何度かありましたが、この度参加させていただき、目の前で見ることができました。目の前で見るとすごい迫力で、たくさんの方が見にきておりました。私の友人も見にきており（毎年見にきているとか）、市民の関心度の高さも伺えました。思ったよりもたくさんの種類の消防車があり、また行進や放水作業の様子から消防団員の練度の高さも伺えました。同じ会派からは、藤井議員が外旭川の消防団に入っており、私たちが見ている前を格好良く颯爽と行進していきました。

I participated in the Akita City Fire Department’s New Year’s event.
Until last year, I was a prefectural government employee, and I had been in a department located relatively on the upper floors on the north side. Therefore, I had the opportunity to observe Akita City’s New Year’s event for the fire department from inside the building several times. However, this time, I had the chance to participate and see it up close. The experience was quite powerful, with a large number of people attending. My friend was also there (apparently, they come every year), indicating the high level of interest among citizens. There were more types of fire trucks than I expected, and observing the parade and water spraying activities revealed the high level of skill among the firefighters. From our political group, Councilor Fujii was a member of the firefighting brigade in Sotoasahikawa, and he confidently marched by in front of us, looking quite impressive.

Participé en la ceremonia de inicio de año de los bomberos de la ciudad de Akita.
Hasta el año pasado, era empleado del gobierno prefectural y, dado que trabajaba en un departamento ubicado relativamente en los pisos superiores del lado norte, tuve la oportunidad de observar la ceremonia de inicio de año de los bomberos de la ciudad de Akita desde el interior del edificio en varias ocasiones. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión tuve la oportunidad de participar y verlo de cerca. La experiencia fue bastante impactante, con un gran número de personas asistiendo. También estaba allí un amigo mío (aparentemente, viene todos los años), lo que indica el alto nivel de interés entre los ciudadanos. Había más tipos de camiones de bomberos de los que esperaba, y observar el desfile y las actividades de rociado de agua reveló el alto nivel de habilidad de los bomberos.
