2026（令和8）年1月18日（日）勝平地区コミュニティセンター多目的ホールにて、勝平地区で開催された「新春の集い」に参加し、地域の皆さまとともに新しい年を祝うことができました。顔なじみの皆さんの温かい笑顔に包まれ、地域に根付いたつながりの大切さをあらためて感じるひとときとなりました。
今年は午年。馬は古くから、力強さや前進、挑戦の象徴とされてきました。立ち止まることなく、しなやかに前へ進む、そんな一年にしていきたいという思いを、会場の雰囲気からも強く感じました。人と人との結びつきが深い勝平地区の力を、これからの地域づくりにさらに活かしていきたいと考えています。
私が市議会議員になって3年が経ち、ようやく仕事にも慣れてきました。市民の皆さまから寄せられるさまざまな要望について、議員として市の当局に問い合わせると、一つ一つ丁寧に対応してもらえる。その経験を重ねる中で、議員とは「住民を代表する窓口」であり、「地域の声を拾い上げ、市政につなぐ存在」なのだという実感が深まっています。
新春の集いの場でも、「いつでも、なんでも、お気軽にご相談ください」とお伝えしました。雑談の中にこそ、地域をより良くするヒントがあると思っています。これからも地域の皆さまの声にしっかりと耳を傾け、一緒に考え、すぐに動く市議会議員であり続けたいと思います。

260118 I Attended the Katsuhira District New Year Gathering
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, I attended the “New Year Gathering” held at the multipurpose hall of the Katsuhira District Community Center. I was happy to celebrate the start of the new year together with many people from the community. Surrounded by the warm smiles of familiar faces, I was reminded once again of how important strong local connections are.
This year is the Year of the Horse. Horses have long been seen as symbols of strength, moving forward, and taking on new challenges. From the atmosphere at the gathering, I strongly felt the shared hope to keep moving forward with flexibility and without stopping. I would like to make even better use of the strong bonds in the Katsuhira District to support future community development.
It has now been three years since I became a city council member, and I am finally getting used to the work. When I bring requests from residents to the city administration, they respond carefully to each one. Through these experiences, I have come to clearly feel that a city council member is a “window” that represents residents and a bridge that connects local voices to city government.
At the New Year gathering, I also told people, “Please feel free to talk to me anytime about anything.” I believe that casual conversations often contain important hints for making the community better. I will continue to listen closely to the voices of local residents, think together with you, and act quickly as your city council member.

260118 Participé en el Encuentro de Año Nuevo del Distrito de Katsuhira
El domingo 18 de enero de 2026, participé en el “Encuentro de Año Nuevo” realizado en el salón de usos múltiples del Centro Comunitario del Distrito de Katsuhira. Me alegró mucho poder celebrar el inicio del nuevo año junto con muchas personas de la comunidad. Rodeado de las sonrisas cálidas de personas conocidas, volví a sentir la importancia de los lazos locales fuertes.
Este año es el Año del Caballo. Desde hace mucho tiempo, el caballo ha sido un símbolo de fuerza, avance y nuevos desafíos. A partir del ambiente del encuentro, sentí con claridad el deseo compartido de seguir avanzando con flexibilidad y sin detenerse. Quiero aprovechar aún más la fuerza de los vínculos del Distrito de Katsuhira para el desarrollo futuro de la comunidad.
Ya han pasado tres años desde que me convertí en concejal municipal, y poco a poco me he ido acostumbrando a mi trabajo. Cuando presento a la administración municipal las solicitudes de los vecinos, recibo respuestas cuidadosas para cada una. A través de estas experiencias, he llegado a sentir con fuerza que un concejal es una “ventana” que representa a los ciudadanos y un puente que conecta las voces de la comunidad con el gobierno local.
Durante el encuentro de Año Nuevo, también les dije: “Por favor, no duden en consultarme en cualquier momento y sobre cualquier tema.” Creo que en las conversaciones informales se esconden muchas ideas importantes para mejorar la comunidad. Seguiré escuchando atentamente las voces de los vecinos, pensando junto a ustedes y actuando con rapidez como su concejal municipal.
