2025（令和7）年11月28日に本会議があり、26日間の令和7年11月秋田市議会定例会（11月議会）が始まりました。市長説明があり、条例案12、単行案5、予算案（補正予算）14、人事案1の合計32件を審議することになります。
市長説明であったいくつかのワードは、11月5日から秋田市危機管理対策本部の設置（クマの個体数の管理強化、捕獲を行う人材の確保、育成の強化、管理強化ゾーンの設定）、伊藤忠など7社の企業連合によるCCS事業（二酸化炭素の回収・貯留の事業）の実施に向けた検討、対話によるまちづくりの推進、次期総合計画の策定、令和8年度組織機構に係る部の再建（企画財政部が企画政策部と財政部になる）、公共施設保有量の見直し、家庭ゴミ手数料の引き下げ、令和8年度の予算編成方針（全体では収入減を見込む、これまで以上に事業の取捨選択が必要）などです。
補正予算案は総額8億8,831万円になり、補正後の令和7年度予算総額は2,639億7,524万円になります。
