2025年9月15日（祝・月）に私の地元である勝平地区で敬老会があり出席しました。昨年に引き続き、今年も出席できたのでとても嬉しかったです！昨年より多い240人もの方が出席されました。
敬老の日を迎えた皆様、誠におめでとうございます！
当日は晴天で気持ちよい日で、会場では同級生のお父さんお母さんたちにたくさんお会いして声をかけていただきました。本当に嬉しいことです。また、勝平保育園児の可愛らしいお遊戯と歌で癒されました。さらに勝平在住の民謡歌手の高校生、山田千尋さんからの民謡メドレーはとても素晴らしいものでした。第1回小野花子杯全国民謡コンクールのジュニアの部で優勝しており、将来が非常に楽しみな地元の星だなぁと感じました。機材トラブルで音楽やマイクの音が全然上がらなかったのですが、めげずに地声で歌い上げました。聴きながら、音響のない昔は、こうして人々の前で、地声で歌っていたんだろうなぁと思い、音響がなくても心に響く山田さんの歌は本物だと感じました。
勝平地区を始め秋田市全域が全ての世代で住みやすい地域になるよう、引き続き努力していきたいと思いました。
【English】Sept 15, 2025 — I attended the 2025 Senior Celebration in the Katsuhira (Araya-Katsuhira) district
On Monday, September 15, 2025 (a national holiday), I attended the Senior Celebration in my hometown, the Katsuhira district in Araya. I was very happy to be able to attend again this year. About 240 people came — more than last year.
Happy Respect-for-the-Aged Day to everyone who celebrated!
The day was sunny and pleasant. At the venue I met many parents of my old classmates, and they warmly greeted me. That made me very happy. I was also moved by a cute performance and songs from the children of the Katsuhira Nursery School.
Another highlight was a folk-song medley by Chihiro Yamada, a high school student from Katsuhira. She won first place in the junior division of the 1st Hanako Ono National Folk Song Contest. I feel she is a promising local star.
The sound system had a technical problem, so the music and microphone did not work well. Even so, Ms. Yamada sang strongly with her natural voice. Listening to her, I thought that people in the old days must have sung like this without microphones. Her singing reached our hearts even without amplification — it felt truly genuine.
I will keep working to help make Katsuhira and all of Akita City comfortable places to live for people of every generation.
【Español】15 de septiembre de 2025 — Asistí a la celebración de las personas mayores del distrito Katsuhira (Araya-Katsuhira)
El lunes 15 de septiembre de 2025 (feriado nacional) asistí a la celebración de las personas mayores en mi barrio, el distrito Katsuhira en Araya. Me dio mucha alegría poder participar de nuevo este año. Asistieron unas 240 personas, ¡más que el año pasado!
¡Felicidades a todas las personas que celebraron el Día del Respeto a las Personas Mayores!
Fue un día soleado y agradable. En el lugar me reencontré con muchos papás y mamás de mis antiguos compañeros, y me saludaron con mucho cariño. Eso me alegró mucho. También me emocionó la presentación y las canciones tan tiernas de los niños y niñas del jardín de infancia de Katsuhira.
Otro momento especial fue el medley de canciones folclóricas a cargo de Chihiro Yamada, una estudiante de secundaria de Katsuhira. Ella ganó el primer lugar en la categoría juvenil del 1er Concurso Nacional de Canción Folclórica “Copa Hanako Ono”. Creo que es una estrella local con mucho futuro.
Hubo un problema técnico con el sistema de sonido, así que la música y el micrófono no funcionaron bien. Aun así, la señorita Yamada cantó con fuerza usando su voz natural. Al escucharla, pensé que así habrán cantado antes, sin micrófonos ni parlantes. Su canto llegó al corazón, incluso sin amplificación — fue auténtico y conmovedor.
Seguiré esforzándome para que Katsuhira y toda la ciudad de Akita sean lugares cómodos para vivir para todas las generaciones.
