2025年9月13日（土）、「八橋の山王さん」として知られる日吉（ひえ）八幡神社の秋季例祭の本祭に参加してきました。
日吉八幡神社は、議員になってからご縁があって、年間でいくつかある日吉八幡神社の祭事に呼んでいただいております。当方の用事と重ならない時はなるべく全て顔を出すつもりでおりますが、段々と行けない事も増えてきました。コロナ禍で中止していた神輿を復活させた一昨年は本祭の御神輿まで参加したのですが、この度の秋季例祭は本祭の神社拝殿行事にしか参加できず、しかも関係者の皆さんと歓談する暇もなく次の用事へと移動してしまいました。私は、日吉八幡神社の神社拝殿行事の雰囲気が好きで、いつも楽しみにしています。700年の歴史を持つ外町の総鎮守である「八橋の山王さん」こと日吉八幡神社を応援していきたいと思います。
【English】250913 – Attending the Autumn Grand Festival at Hie Hachiman Shrine
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, I took part in the main celebration of the Autumn Grand Festival at Hie Hachiman Shrine, also known as “Sannō-san of Yabase.”
Since becoming a city council member, I have been invited to several of the shrine’s annual events. I try to attend whenever I don’t have other duties, but it is becoming harder to make it every time. Two years ago, when the shrine brought back the portable shrine (mikoshi) after the pandemic, I was able to join even the main mikoshi parade. But this time, I could only attend the ceremony in the worship hall, and I had to leave quickly without having time to talk with the people there.
Still, I really enjoy the atmosphere of the worship hall ceremonies at Hie Hachiman Shrine, and I always look forward to them. With its 700 years of history as the guardian shrine of Sotomachi, “Sannō-san of Yabase” is very important for our community, and I want to continue supporting it.
【Español】250913 – Participación en el Gran Festival de Otoño del Santuario Hie Hachiman
El sábado 13 de septiembre de 2025 participé en la celebración principal del Gran Festival de Otoño en el Santuario Hie Hachiman, también conocido como “Sannō-san de Yabase”.
Desde que soy regidor municipal, he tenido la dicha de ser invitado a varios de los festivales anuales de este santuario. Trato de asistir siempre que mis obligaciones me lo permiten, pero cada vez se vuelve más difícil estar en todos. Hace dos años, cuando el santuario volvió a sacar el mikoshi (templo portátil) después de la pandemia, pude participar incluso en el desfile principal. Pero en esta ocasión solo logré estar en la ceremonia dentro del salón de adoración, y tuve que salir de inmediato sin poder conversar con los demás.
Aun así, disfruto mucho la atmósfera de las ceremonias en el salón del santuario y siempre las espero con ilusión. Con sus 700 años de historia como santuario protector de Sotomachi, el “Sannō-san de Yabase” es un lugar muy importante para nuestra comunidad, y deseo seguir apoyándolo.
